Day 3:
We left the Hotel around 7 to go to the Floating Market situated at the Damneon Saduak Canal located in the Damneon Saduak Village which is part of the District of Ratchaburi.
Damnoen Saduak, is actually the name of the canal dug in the reign of King Rama IV. He had the canal dug to connect the Taachin River in Samutsakorn Province and Maeklong River in Samutsongkram Province together.
Nowadays, most people live densely along both sides of the canal from one end of the canal to another. They grow different kinds of fruit and vegetables. Apart from providing transportation , Damnoen Saduak Canal also provides farmers with adequate water for agricultural purposes for the whole year around.
You can find from colored fruits and vegetables to clothes and handcrafts at the market. It has this amazing and unique atmosphere.
After spending more than half of the day going and coming back from the floating market, we went to check out the MBK Center.
MBK Center, also known as Mahboonkrong, is a large shopping mall in Bangkok. At eight stories high, the center contains around 2,000 shops, restaurants and service outlets, including the 4-story Tokyu department store.
The MBK Center is popular with tourists, although the majority of shoppers are Bangkok residents.
MBK was the largest shopping mall in Asia when it opened in 1985. MBK Center is located in Pathum Wan district and close to Siam Square. If you use the Sky Train, the closest stop will be the National Stadium Station.
They have this food court full of options from Thai food to Burgers, but basically Asian food. We had lunch there and it was ok.

Nós saimos do Hotel por volta de 7 da manhã para ir para o mercado flutuante situado no Canal Damneon Saduak que fica no Vilarejo de Damneon Saduak que faz parte do Distrito de Ratchaburi.
Esse nome foi dado no reinado do rei Rama IV. Ele escavou o canal para ligar o Rio Taachin na Província de Samutsakorn e o Rio Maeklong na Província de Samutsongkhram.
Hoje em dia, a maioria das pessoas vivem dos dois lados do canal, de ponta a ponta. Cultivando diversos tipos de frutas e vegetais. Além de fornecer o transporte, o Canal de Damnoen Saduak também proporciona aos agricultores água adequada para uma boa agricultura o ano todo.
Nesse mercado você encontra de frutas e vegetais a roupas e artesanatos, rodeados por uma atmosfera local incrível e única.
Depois de passar mais da metade do dia indo e voltando do mercado flutuante, fomos checar o famoso MBK Center.
MBK Center, também conhecido como Mahboonkrong, é um grande centro comercial em Bangkok. Com oito andares de altura, o centro contém cerca de 2.000 lojas, restaurantes e outlets, incluindo a loja de departamentos Tokyo de 4 andares.
O MBK Center é popular entre os turistas, embora a maioria dos compradores são residentes de Bangkok.
MBK já foi o maior centro comercial da Ásia, quando abriu em 1985. MBK Center está localizado no distrito de Wan Pathum e perto de Siam Square. Se você utilizar o Sky Train, a parada mais próxima será a National Stadium Station.
Eles têm uma praça de alimentação repleta de opções de comida Tailandesa a Burgers,mas basicamente comida asiática. Almoçamos lá e a comida estava ok.
