The first thing I did when I woke up was to check how the weather was. And finally it was just amazing! We finally had some blue skies. So I got out of bed, had some breakfast and met another friend who was going to snowboard with me that day.
We rode to the Canyons Resort the whole day and I took a bunch of pictures with my Nikon D300. I will eventually upload those pictures soon! We had so much fun. The snow was amazing. Fresh powder, great company, my camera with me and a hot sunny day. I couldn’t ask for more 🙂
On the way back, she drove all the way to Deer Valley to show me around. Apparently you can only ski there, snowboarding is not allowed. So she just drove by to show me the area.
After that she also drove pass by the Main Street where I took a couple more pictures and after we headed back to the Hotel.
I showered, changed clothes and met another friend who knows the area pretty well. He picked me up and drove up the mountains so that we could take some really good shots of the mountains and the sunset. It was amazing. The view from the City was just so beautiful.
After that we headed to Main Street for a couple of drinks because it was his birthday and we had to celebrate it. And at night I met my parents and friends for dinner at the 350 Main Restaurant. We had a lot of fun and the food was really good.
