Barcelona: Tips

The city of Barcelona has a rich history, focused on modern design, art all over the city, markets, restaurants, beaches and a big music scene, it is definitely one of my favorite cities in the world.

To see:

  • Barri Gòtic: Oldest part of Barcelona and the city centre
  • Gaudi Architecture
  • Las Ramblas
  • Plaça de Catalunya
  • Plaça Reial
  • Torre Agbar: A tower designed by french architect Jean Nouvel. Not opened for public but you can see it from pretty much every neighborhood in Barcelona.
  • Montjuic Hill
  • Camp Nou / FC Barcelona (Soccer Stadium)
  • Temple of Augustus: The temple of the Roman colony of Barcino was dedicated to the imperial cult.
  • El Portal de L’Angel: Comercial area
  • Tibidabo:  Is a mountain overlooking Barcelona. Occupied by the Sagrat Cor Church and the Tibidabo Amusement Park.
  • Montserrat: Outside of Barcelona – 1h30. A beautiful monastery stands at the center of the mountain range.
  • Sant Miquel del Fai: Another beautiful monastery
